Event Description

This HealthTree Cure Hub Workshop is IN-PERSON, free, and lunch will be provided. Please bring a laptop computer.

SPECIAL NOTE: If you register for this workshop and the in-person Buffalo, New York Myeloma Crowd Round Table you will receive a $150 gift card to help cover some of the expenses for attending both days. You must register for both events to receive the gift card. You are welcome to bring a spouse, partner, or caregiver with you. If you bring someone with you they should register as well so that we have an accurate food count. One gift card will be provided per couple or group.

The panelist Todd Foster
Todd Foster

Todd Foster is the head of Product at HealthTree, he is an IT healthcare executive who specializes in patient experience and clinical process improvements. Todd was director of Patient and Provider Experience at MD Anderson for over a decade. Prior experience includes leadership of IT development projects at Intermountain HealthCare and United HealthCare. Todd has a passion for using technology that can help patients have a better life and along the way, help to further research for a cure.

Jennifer Ahlstrom

Myeloma survivor, patient advocate, wife, mom of 6. Believer that patients can help accelerate a cure by weighing in and participating in clinical research. Founder of Myeloma Crowd by HealthTree and the HealthTree Foundation.

The panelist Nathan Sweeney
Nathan Sweeney

Nathan Sweeney, Ph.D. - Dr. Sweeney is the Manager of Clinical Research for the HealthTree Foundation and a pediatric cancer survivor (ALL). He has 13 years of research experience including undergraduate research at the University of Utah, doctoral research in Cancer Biology at the University of Arizona, and post-doctoral research at the Huntsman Cancer Insitute. When he's not researching cancer you can find him mountain biking, fishing, or playing make-believe with his 5-year-old daughter.

The panelist Linnley Sweeney
Linnley Sweeney

Linnley joined the Myeloma Crowd in January 2020 to share her passion for health. Her husband is a Childhood Cancer Survivor as well as a Cancer Biologist. Finding a cure, better treatments, and balancing life through treatment is a huge passion of their family. She's a mom of an energetic 6-year old, marathon runner, and Ironman finisher- fitness has been a huge part of her life and she loves to share it with others.
