Audrey Burton-Bethke

Audrey joined the Myeloma Crowd as the Community Manager in 2020 after previously working in the nonprofit field for 4 years as a director of Fundraising and Development. She graduated from BYU with a major in Spanish and Nonprofit Management. Audrey is passionate about serving others, loves learning, and enjoys a nice mug of hot chocolate no matter the weather.

The panelist Mahima Gulati, MD, MSc
Mahima Gulati, MD, MSc

Mahima Gulati, MD, MSc, ECNU, FACE is a fellowship-trained endocrinologist and lifestyle medicine physician at the Middlesex Health Multispecialty Group - Endocrinology office. Dr. Gulati earned her medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from the University of Utah on a scholarship grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and holds four board certifications. She is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Gulati has an active clinical practice at Middlesex Health Multispecialty Group - Endocrinology where she also founded the thyroid nodule biopsy clinic, and has performed more than 500 thyroid nodule ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures in the past five years. She also serves as an assistant professor at the Quinnipiac University Netter School of Medicine and created the Lifestyle Medicine curriculum for medical residents at the Middlesex Health Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Gulati co-leads the American College of Lifestyle Medicine's task force on Health Disparities Among Vulnerable Populations of Women, has authored book chapters on disorders of reproductive hormones and the pituitary gland in men and women, and also leads the lifestyle medicine program at Middlesex Health. Lifestyle medicine is an innovative way of preventing, reversing, and treating chronic disease. It uses evidence-based, non-medication techniques to help patients take small steps towards a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Gulati has an active clinical practice at Middlesex Health Multispecialty Group - Endocrinology, founded the thyroid nodule biopsy clinic at Middlesex Health, and has performed more than 500 thyroid nodule ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures in the past five years.
