Oral Myeloma Treatment Options: Do They Matter to You?
New, all-oral combinations are now available for the treatment of multiple myeloma with the introduction of the new proteasome inhibitor ixazomib. As more all-oral options become available, how important is that for you? Would you use them? Are they better for you than infusions? Here's your chance to weigh in.
A graduate student is doing a study called Treating Multiple Myeloma and the Unknown: Patient Acceptability and Preference to Route of Treatment.
This is a research project to help understand the pros and cons of oral, IV and other methods of treatment for myeloma. Learning more about your preferences will help other patients evaluate their options and help drug companies know how important that is to you so they know what to develop.
